Ground handler Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has moved its Frankfurt customers into the premises of Fraport Cargo Services (FCS) following its acquisition of a 51% stake in the German firm.
In November last year, WFS completed its investment in FCS and the two companies began merging operations at the German airport.
FCS managing director Hans-Georg Emmert said: “We have managed to bring together two companies in a short time to offer our customers the best possible service and a continuing high quality handling. This is the most important goal for FCS and for WFS.”
FCS also took on 19 WFS workers as part of the merger. Document handling of all WFS customers is still processed by WFS workers.
