Gefco Forwarding UK has become a patron of Medilink East Midlands (EM), an organisation that helps new start-ups in the healthcare industry establish themselves, develop and grow.
The forwarder has worked with the organisation for two years, and the new patronage comes as Gefco looks to develop its Life Sciences and Healthcare consultancy service.
“We’re delighted that GEFCO have chosen to become Patrons of Medilink EM and show their backing for us and our ongoing activities within the Life Sciences sector,” said Darren Clark, chief executive, Medilink.
“As one of our first Patrons, GEFCO demonstrated immediate support when they hosted our Summer BBQ, which marked the launch of our new membership offering in September 2016. We look forward to continuing to work with GEFCO in what I’m sure will be a very mutually beneficial partnership.”
