Freight forwarding and logistics company U-Freight is celebrating its golden jubilee at its annual international sales conference taking place this week in Hong Kong, where over 150 delegates from its own network and agents will come together.

Chief executive officer Simon Wong said: “Since 1968, U-Freight has developed a network of subsidiary companies and exclusive agents.

“Able to offer the full range of air and seafreight services, the group is one of the world’s leading independent providers of international freight forwarding and logistics services and is in an especially strong position to serve the needs of shippers moving goods intra-Asia between China, Japan, South Korea and the ASEAN countries, as well as the rest of the world.”

U-Freight is a strong player in the global e-commerce logistics market and attributes its success to its flat management structure and a continuous focus on yield and customer service, as well as a combination of local expertise and global reach.

“Looking further ahead to the next 50 years, we intend to remain a medium-sized player on the international forwarding scene, offering our customers a personal service backed up by a global perspective,” Wong said.
