Turkish Cargo has added Macau to its network as it looks to expand in the Asia Pacific region.
From November 1, the airline will utilise one of its Airbus A330 freighters to the city on a rotation of: Istanbul, Almaty, Macau, Almaty, Istanbul.
Turkish Cargo said that Macau is "an important center in terms of tourism and finance and hosts market leaders of sectors such as high technology, e-commerce, electronics and textiles".
The new flight brings the carrier's number of direct cargo flights to 97 destinations, which it said was the world's largest direct cargo flight network (excluding express carriers).
The Turkish Airlines fleet now stands at 371 aircraft including 24 dedicated freighters. Turkish Cargo aims to become one of the top three air cargo brands in the world.
