Titan Aviation, one of the subsidiaries of New York-based freighter operator Atlas Air Worldwide, has chosen Ancra International to supply the cargo loading systems for the latest additions to its freighter fleet.
Ancra delivered two such systems to the leasing concern in 2015, and is delivering more this year for the Boeing 767-300 aircraft being converted to the freighter configuration by Israel’s Bedek Aviation Group under a separate deal.
Ancra’s B767BDSF cargo loading system (P/N 85000-10) supports the side-by-side loading of up to 24 88” x 125” containers loaded side-by-side; up to 13 96” x 125” containers loaded longitudinally; up to 17 88” x 125” containers loaded transversely; or up to 16 96” x 125” containers loaded transversely, in relation to the IAI B767 conversion supplemental type certificate (STC).
In 2016, Titan is expected to install Ancra’s 85000-30 cargo loading system into its aircraft. This system offers 16-foot pallet transport capability integrated into the base system, thereby eliminating the need for kit installation and removal.

Atlas Air Worldwide is already familiar with Ancra and its products since it currently operates aircraft equipped with Ancra’s 82000-series B747BDSF cargo loading systems.
