Time-critical logistics firm time:matters has opened a new station in Casablanca to enable the offering of same-day transport in North Africa.
The logistics company said that Casablanca - one of North Africa's "most important and major economic regions - would be served 17 times a week with direct connections from Frankfurt and Paris. The service caters for shipments up to 300 kg.
Alexander Kohnen, chief executive of time:matters, said: “We’ve been seeing rising demand from our customers and focus industries, such as the automotive, high-tech, aviation and aerospace sectors, for highly efficient transport options to Casablanca and North Africa for some time.
"By expanding our first-class Sameday Air service, we’re now filling this gap and ensuring even more options and flexibility in our transport solutions going forward.”
The addition of Casablanca means that the logistics company is now able to add North Africa to its same-day air network that currently operates to Europe, Israel, the US and Mexico.
