ACMI/charter cargo airline Texel Air Australasia has taken delivery of its third 737-800BCF (Boeing Converted Freighter).

Bahrain-headquartered Chisholm Enterprises confirmed the freighter had been delivered to its subsidiary Texel Air Australasia in a LinkedIn post on Wednesday November 29.

The LinkedIn post said: "What a great way to end 2023 with the delivery of tail #3 to Texel Air Australasia. Thank you, JLPS Ireland Limited, for working with us to get this deal done to close out 2023 on a high note by providing more lift to our Australasian operations."

Auckland-headquartered airline Texel Air Australasia was launched in June this year.

It initially carried out charter services for Parceline Express, a subsidiary of Freightways and New Zealand Post.

Texel Air Australasia’s website states that the airline’s fleet of Boeing 737s includes the B737-300F, the B737-700 FlexCombi and the B737-800BCF.

Sister airline Texel Air is headquartered in Bahrain.

Lessor JLPS Ireland has a total of 135 aircraft under lease contracts currently with 41 airline companies.
