Etihad Cargo has established a direct e-booking integration with Kuehne+Nagel (K+N) that provides the forwarder with access to real-time capacity and pricing across Etihad Cargo’s network.

The integration, which uses advanced web services developed by both companies, offers K+N immediate visibility into available capacity and dynamic pricing via Etihad Cargo’s Instant Offer Rate (IOR) tool to facilitate quick bookings with greater transparency, flexibility and efficiency.

“Etihad Cargo’s integration with Kuehne+Nagel represents another milestone in the carrier’s commitment to digital innovation and operational excellence,” said Stanislas Brun, vice president cargo at Etihad Cargo.

“By providing Kuehne+Nagel with direct access to Etihad Cargo’s network’s real-time data, this integration enhanced their ability to make informed booking decisions, streamline operations, and ultimately deliver superior service to their customers.

“Etihad Cargo will continue to prioritise the carrier’s digital connectivity and development, ensuring technological advancements keep pace with industry demands and further elevate service standards.”

Holger Ketz, global head of air logistics network and carrier management at K+N, added: “By launching direct ebooking with Etihad Cargo, Kuehne+Nagel can offer its customers real time access to capacity and pricing. This will create greater operational efficiencies and optimise our customers’ experience.”

Etihad Cargo has previously made its capacity on the cargo.one, WebCargo, CargoWise and CargoAI platforms. The carrier has made a number of technology investments recently.

In March, the Abu Dhabi-based carrier implemented a customised version of Awery Aviation Software’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to manage its cargo chartering programme.

In the same month, Etihad Cargo also announced that it had collaborated with data and market analysis consultant Rotate to develop digital sales optimisation tool, Sales Cockpit for launch across Etihad Cargo’s global network of stations.
