Swiss WorldCargo will offer a new range of temperature controlled containers after signing a deal to offer va-Q-tec’s devices directly to its customers.
va-Q-tec offers five “passive” hard shell container sizes, taking up to two pallets inside, that can offer temperature ranges from -70°C to +25°C.
Swiss head of cargo Ashwin Bhat said: “With va-Q-tec’s containers we welcome the opportunity to offer a more complete, value-added passive solution set to our pharma & healthcare client base worldwide.”
va-Q-tec managing director Dominic Hyde added: “Many pharma shippers and forwarders see the cargo division of Swiss as a strategic partner for reliably transporting pharmaceuticals and they want the simplicity of ordering the va-Q-tainer containers through the airline directly.
