Swiss WorldCargo, the airfreight division of Swiss International, is adding Osaka, Japan, as a destination in its global network.
From March 1, the carrier will operate an Airbus A340-300 service from Zurich to Osaka. The new route adds to its daily Zurich—Tokyo service, carried out by a Boeing 777-300 since February 1 to increase capacity by 40%.
Swiss WorldCargo has selected ANA Cargo as its handler at Kansai International Airport. Meanwhile, Tokyo-based Tango Tomonari will be responsible for the Swiss WorldCargo team in Japan.
Swiss Worldcargo has also appointed Jun Nakatani as its new head of Kansai Region in Japan.
