Kazakhstan-headquartered Sigma Airlines has added its first B747 freighter aircraft.
Aircraft tracking websites confirmed local reports that the B747-200F (UP-B4702) began flying for Sigma towards the end of last year.
Previously, the 1987-built aircraft had been operated by US carrier Kalitta Air, Delta Air Lines and Northwest Airlines.
Sigma Airlines began operations in January 2017 and also operates two IL-76TD aircraft, offering services to the Middle East, South America, Europe, Africa and CIS countries.
"We regularly perform flights with general, outsize and overweight shipments, ad-hoc charters, humanitarian, relief and military supplies," the airline states.
