Saudia is to operate twice weekly 787 Dreamliner passenger and cargo flights between Manchester and Riyadh from June 23. The new Monday and Wednesday departures complement five existing flights a week to Jeddah, giving a daily service from the northern UK city to Saudi Arabia.

Connections are available to other Middle Eastern and Asian destinations.

Manager for the UK, Fikry Altowayan, said: “We are excited with this newest addition to Saudia’s growing 83 destinations. Manchester Airport is ideally situated to serve as Saudia’s gateway to cater to our guests from the North.”
