SEKO Logistics is helping Glasgow, UK-based Peak Scientific to optimise its supply chain with visibility, reporting and cost saving solutions, and by cutting out unnecessary airfreight costs.
Peak Scientific, designs, manufactures and supports high performance gas generators for analytical laboratories, now serves customers in two of its major markets, China and the US, with in-territory stock, using seafreight to ship products in bulk to eliminate the cost of shipping single units by air.
The partners add that, by consolidating shipments into full seafreight containerloads, flows of product are steadier and response times faster.
