Saudia will add bellyhold cargo services to new destinations Munich and Maldives in the coming weeks, with services to Ankara starting in the last quarter of 2016.
Passenger bellyhold space of up to 30 tonnes will be available on Boeing 777 and Airbus A320/A330 passenger aircraft serving the new routes, said a spokesperson for the Saudi Arabian airline.
Nabil Khojah, chief executive at Saudia Cargo, was quoted as saying that the new destinations will contribute to achieving the Middle East carrier’s objective of reaching new markets.
Saudia Cargo operates a fleet of dedicated freighters and sells the belly-capacity on passenger aircraft for the flag carrier, spanning a rapidly expanding global network. The airline also provides worldwide cargo charter solutions.
