Royal Jordanian celebrated the return of regular flights to the Turkish capital with a ceremony in Ankara on 9 December. The Airbus 321 was greeted on arrival from Amman by Jordanian Ambassador to Turkey Amjad Adayleh at a at Ankara’s Esenboğa International Airport.
Flights had been suspended for ten years for commercial reasons, said the carrier.
Royal Jordanian is now operating 12 weekly flights between the two countries; nine to Istanbul and three to Ankara, with many extras during the summer season and holidays.
