Royal Air Maroc has become the latest carrier to place its air cargo capacity on the cargo.one online booking platform.

The partnership represents the Morocco-based carrier's first digital sales channel and will give cargo.one freight forwarders access to both the carrier's bellyhold and freighter capacity.

"With a flexible fleet and its main hub in Casablanca, the carrier benefits from a geostrategic location at the crossroads of international air cargo lanes linking the Americas, Europe, Africa and the Middle-East. Royal Air Maroc Cargo offers a broad range of cargo services catering to many industries and sectors," cargo.one said in a press release.

Royal Air Maroc Cargo customers can now book digitally for general cargo shipments up to 1000kg (widebody) and 500kg (narrowbody).

Initially, capacity will be limited to selected markets from Europe and Africa region but additional markets including North America and the Middle East will be added in the coming weeks.

The ability to book perishable shipments will also be added over the next few weeks, the partners said.

Yassine Berrada, vice president cargo at Royal Air Maroc, added: “Partnering with cargo.one enables us to enter the digital market strongly and deliver our customers a world-class digital booking experience. cargo.one is currently empowering our internal teams with valuable tactics to capitalise upon all our relevant market potentials.”
