Precision Aircraft Solutions, the US-based passenger to freighter conversion specialist, has reached a definitive agreement with Altech Aerospace of Portland, Oregon, to join forces in the aerospace industry.
Altech will continue doing business under its brand name as a division of Precision.
Altech provides engineering services to airlines, MROs and aircraft manufacturers worldwide. The services included structural and interior design, composite design and static and damage tolerance stress analysts. Founded in 2011, Altech has doubled its industry footprint every year since.
Precision president Gary Warner said: “Altech brings with it strong and complementary engineering capabilities, and we are looking forward to the new opportunities that will surely result.”
Altech chief executive and co-founder Dany Daoust said: “With the rapid growth that both Precision and Altech are experiencing, it is the perfect time for Precision to have Altech join its organisation, and for us to work together during this exciting time.”
Daoust has accepted the position of director of engineering at Precision and will focus on advancing both business lines in the aerospace industry.
