Logistics provider Pilot Freight Services has appointed Zach Pollock into the role of chief executive officer.
He succeeds Gordon Branov, who recently retired from the company.
Pollock joined Pilot Freight Services in 2005 and his previous roles at the company have included: district manager, regional vice president, executive vice president of corporate stations and most recently chief operating officer.
In his new role, he will work with the senior leadership team to "develop and meet the company's business goals, create solutions to support current product offerings and encourage new opportunities".
Jerome Lorrain, executive chair of Pilot Freight Services, commented: "Pollock has demonstrated exceptional leadership capabilities, drive and character. His success within the company and advancement is a testament to the significant opportunities available to Pilot employees."
