Rotate’s consulting project manager Tim van Leeuwen has been promoted to vice president and head of consulting.

He announced the appointment on LinkedIn today, after joining the cargo data, software, and consultancy service provider just 14 months ago as consulting project manager.

”What news to receive heading into 2025: I’m thrilled to lead Rotate’s Consulting team as VP and Head of Consulting going forward! With all that Rotate has to offer (our strategy consulting, our market data and our software) I’m very excited to continue working closely with our customers,” said van Leeuwen.

During his time as consulting project manager, van Leeuwen managed and coordinated co-development projects with cargo airlines at Rotate, helping airlines to turn data into action and improve day-to-day commercial decision-making by combining market data, cloud-based tools and analytics with support and training.

Before working for Rotate, van Leeuwen was aviation project manager at Accenture for nearly six years.

Before this, he had a career in teaching physics to secondary school pupils.

In March last year, Ryan Keyrouse became chief executive. Fellow co-founder and outgoing chief executive Gert-Jan Jansen decided to remain on the board as an executive director and senior advisor for client engagements.

Launched in 2022, Netherlands-based Rotate now has a team of over 20 people consisting of strategy consultants, data scientists, and software developers.

In November 2023, Roate decided to launch its Live Capacity tool for free.

The tool contains live updated flight data from thousands of airlines, more than 9,000 airports and over 200 aircraft types and allows users to see the amount of air cargo capacity on various trade lanes.
