MSC Air Cargo has hired Nina Heinz as service delivery director to focus on improving customer experience.

Based in Paris, Heinz has made a return to the airfreight industry after an eight-year period in a different industry.

Prior to the PDA, she worked for Maersk in senior cold chain logistics roles for nearly three years. She also worked as global head of network & quality, temperature management solutions at DHL for over eight years.

Heinz said in a LinkedIn post on 7 April: "I am pleased to share that I have joined MSC Air Cargo as Service Delivery Director.

"After spending last week in Geneva with our dynamic team, I am settling into my new office and eager to return to my airfreight roots. In these recent times of global uncertainty in trade, air cargo has never been more relevant in providing agility, flexibility and resilience to supply chains.

"I look forward to driving customer centricity, innovation, and excellence in this exciting new journey ahead."

MSC Air Cargo has been steadily expanding since launching operations in December 2022.

Most recently, in January, Atlas Air began a weekly air cargo route from Maastricht Aachen Airport in the Netherlands to Asia (including China) on behalf of MSC Air Cargo.
