Arun Nair has been promoted to manager, alliances & partnerships at Etihad Cargo and will begin his new Abu Dhabi-based role on 1 March.
He has worked for Etihad since 2014 across revenue management, charter sales, and product development.
Nair started out in his career at the airline within the role of capacity control officer - revenue management, where he focused on flight capacity management.
He then stepped into the role of charter sales analyst, looking after cargo charter sales and flight setup coordination.
Following this, he became product development manager, a role he carried out for over three years.
Prior to joining Etihad, Nair had jobs working in guest services/flight operations for AirAsia and in sales, reservations and operations for Allied Aviation, which operated as a GSSA for Etihad Cargo at the time.
“We’re delighted to announce that Arun Nair will step into the role of Manager, Alliances & Partnerships from 1st March 2025,” said Etihad Cargo in a LinkedIn post on 12 February.
