Freight forwarding and project logistics firm deugro has promoted Steffen Behrens to chief commercial officer (CCO).
Behrens has worked for deugro since 2017 and has played a pivotal role in leading and developing the Middle East region from his base in Dubai.
With over 20 years of experience in the project logistics industry, Behrens has held various roles in the UAE, China, and Germany within deugro and other companies.
In 2022, he was promoted to deugro’s president – Middle East.
During a transitionary phase, Behrens will continue to serve as both chief operating officer and president – Middle East until his sole chief commercial officer duties become fully effective on 1 September.
