PEMCO World Air Services has redelivered a converted Boeing 737-300F to SF Airlines, the air cargo division of Shenzhen-based logistics specialist SF Express.
The US-based conversion specialist has now completed a total of ten B737-300/400F passenger to freighter reconfigurations for the Chinese parcel carrier.
The original contract, signed in July 2013, was recently revised to add seven conversions.
The latest PEMCO freighters to join SF Airlines' growing fleet were converted by PEMCO's long time partner, STAECO, in Jinan Shandong, China.
PEMCO and STAECO have partnered on more than 50 Boeing 737-300 and 737-400 freighter modification projects since 2006.
"We are pleased that SF Airlines has decided to expand their fleet requirements once again by selecting our STC modification," said PEMCO's director of cargo conversions, Mike Andrews.
PEMCO's latest B737-300F redelivery for SF Airlines provides nine pallet positions, up to 43,100 lbs (20 tonnes) of payload, and 130 cu m of total volume.
