UPS’s Olympic challenge is far from over according to Paralympian Caz Walton.

The ten-time medal winner welcomes the logistics firm’s efforts storing and distributing team GB’s gear, which she says is helping them focus on the podium.

Alan Williams, UPS director of London 2012 – sponsorship and operations, explains that the firm is helping the home side by delivering clothing and equipment where the athletes want it for training before collecting it again and taking it to the Olympic village.

In total 300 British athletes will be receiving an average of 91 items ahead of the start of the games on August 29.

Walton says: “It is a proud moment when you receive your team kit - it makes it seem real.”
