Netherlands-based CEVA Logistics has appointed a new chief financial officer, Arjan Kaaks.
Kaaks, who reports to chief executive Xavier Urbain, joins CEVA from Benelux privately-owned retailer Maxeda DIY Group, where he was chief financial officer (CFO) and an executive board member.
Previous employment includes spells at O’Neill Group, the sports lifestyle brand, and brewers, Royal Grolsch.
Current CFO Rubin McDougal is retiring but will remain with the company to hand over to his successor for the next few months.
Xavier Urbain said Kaaks’ breadth of experience in mid-sized companies and large global corporations would make him “a strong addition to our management team,” adding: “I also want to acknowledge Rubin McDougal’s numerous contributions to CEVA over his six years with the company."
Arjan Kaaks commented: “This is an exciting time to be joining CEVA. The company has started to execute its renewed strategy and progress is becoming visible. We have a strong foundation to build upon as we continue our focus on driving sustainable topline growth and productivity improvements.”
