Two neutral freight alliances, Cargo World Network (CWN) and Neutral Air Partner (NAP), have entered into a strategic partnership that will aim to provide “first-class neutral air and ocean consolidation solutions to the global logistics community”, a NAP statement has said.

CWN brings together regional operators in over 50 markets to create a global network for maritime freight transportation, while NAP links 130 air cargo service providers in 70 countries. The partnership between the two would enable members to work together to provide multimodal transport solutions.

For NAP, chief executive and founder Christos Spyrou said: “Our partnership with CWN gives our members access to a global network of LCL consolidation specialists and to an innovative platform of ocean freight tools including LCL rate engine and sailing schedules.”

Ruben Huber, co-president of CWN, stated that the agreement will offer CWN members access to an airfreight platform that “complements the service to our customers whenever a shipment becomes more urgent. Besides the mutual benefit, both networks share similar values and a spirit for innovation that has the potential to further revolutionize our industry,” he added.
