National Air Cargo has organised relief supplies to Houston citizens affected by Hurricane Harvey – by road. The products, donated by local grocery stores in Boynton Beach, Florida and parents and students from the American Heritage School, were transported by 53-foot trailer from Delray Beach, Florida to a relief centre in Conroe, Texas, 40 miles north of Houston.
Volunteers organised by National Air Cargo, loaded 23 skids of supplies before the truck made the 17-hour journey to Conroe, which was badly affected by flooding from Hurricane Harvey.
National Air Cargo chairman and chief executive, Christopher Alf, commented, "In National's 25-year history we have always been committed to assisting those in need any way we can."
