A TOTAL of 1,316 forwarders have now signed the International Air Transportation Association’s (IATA) multilateral e-AWB agreement, writes Thelma Etim, deputy editor.
The single standard document allows shipment information to be exchanged electronically, rather than being accompanied by paper airwaybills.
But the number of airlines signed up to the agreement remains at 77.
