Miami International Airport (MIA) will resume operations today on a limited basis following the devastation caused by Hurricane Irma.

In a statement, the airport said that some cargo and passenger flights would resume today, but added that many airlines would still not be operating to a full schedule and therefore airlines should be contacted for full details.

Updates on cargo operations for United, American and Delta can be found on the alert sections of their websites.

Operations at several other airports have been affected by the hurricane, including Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach International, South West Florida International, Jacksonville International, Orlando Airport, Tampa International, Princess Juliana, Charleston International, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Savannah.
