Lufthansa Cargo is to make its Vietnam service permanent in its new winter schedule. Following a successful test phase over the summer, it will fly a Boeing 777F weekly to Ho Chi Minh City.

The flight departs from Frankfurt is on Thursday, operating via Mumbai and terminating in Hong Kong.

Vice president Asia-Pacific, Frank Naeve said that demand from Vietnam had been stable, adding that the carrier had “built up excellent relationships with our clients in Vietnam, which we will now be further cultivating with the fixed freighter connection.”
