Ralf-Rainer Ausländer has taken over the management of Leisure Cargo, with current managing directors Klaus Sieger and Thilo Schäfer leaving the company at the end of September.
Leisure Cargo said that Sieger and Schäfer were leaving to "devote themselves to new tasks".
The virtual airline, which sells capacity on 14 leisure and low-cost airlines, was taken over by the Zeitfracht group in October last year when previous owner Air Berlin filed for bankruptcy.
"With Ralf-Rainer Ausländer we are pleased to have once again gained an experienced managing director and proven freight expert for Leisure Cargo who will consistently continue the path towards the expansion of the customer portfolio and digitalisation," Zeitfracht managing director Wolfram Simon said.
"We thank Dr. Klaus Sieger and Thilo Schäfer for their intensive work in the transformation process of Leisure Cargo and wish them all the best for the future."
According to his LinkedIn profile, Ausländer has worked for Leisure Cargo since 2000, having previously worked for LTU International Airways as director of cargo.
