Kuehne + Nagel International (K+N) has announced that after forty-two years as a member of the board of directors, from May 5, 2020, Thomas Staehelin will not stand for re-election to the board.
The proposed new member for election to the K+N board of directors is Dominik Bürgy, a tax expert and partner at Wenger & Vieli, attorneys-at-law.
Bürgy, who is from Switzerland and has a law degree from the University of Bern, was previously a long-standing partner and member of the management board at Ernst & Young Switzerland, as well as managing partner tax and legal, Switzerland.
Bürgy was also a member of the tax leadership team (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) and people partner tax with HR responsibility. In this role, his tasks included the management of global mandates in more than 70 countries.
