The Ark at JFK, a private animal health, reception and quarantine facility located in Cargo Area D at JFK International Airport, has appointed Vincent DiCicco as veterinary and bio-security compliance officer.
He will be responsible for ensuring The ARK’s compliance with best bio-security and animal welfare practices throughout its operations, including the ARK Pet Oasis, Equine Export, Equine Import and Ground Handling.
DiCicco has 40 years of experience as an equine practitioner at major race tracks and provides practice consulting for small animal veterinarians and is familiar with shipping requirements for companion animals.
Approved by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey as JFK’s exclusive provider, The ARK at JFK provides pre- and post-travel animal care and veterinary services for pets, horses, birds, livestock and exotic animals in a competent and compassionate manner
