IAG Cargo will begin offering cargo capacity on a new direct service between London Heathrow and Durban from October 29.
The airline group's cargo business said the new three-times-per-week service will cater for the demands of South Africa’s manufacturing sector, which now accounts for 8% of the country's exports.
Customers will have access to up to 15 tonnes of lift per flight on board a B787-8 aircraft, with the service operating on Monday, Thursday and Saturdays from London Heathrow, with return flights on Tuesday, Friday and Sundays.
It will be the only non-stop flight between London and Durban.
