IAG Cargo is hoping to capitalise on the addition of a new route between Madrid and Doha.
The new daily service will launch on December 11 utilising an A330 aircraft flown by Iberia.
IAG said that the service will connect with Iberia's operation between Madrid and Latin America/North America, offering the opportunity to move goods into the Middle East from the Americas.
"This will be of particular benefit to those in the food sector given the large number of perishables exported into the Middle East," the carrier said.
The cargo business pointed out that Madrid serves 17 destinations in Latin America.
The business also offers direct connections between Madrid and eight key cities in North America, alongside a daily widebody connection to London.
