COMBINED traffic for Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) in January and February showed cargo throughput increased 2.6 per cent to 600,000 tonnes, even though airfreight volumes dipped by one per cent in February.
Stanley Hui Hon-chung, chief executive of Airport Authority Hong Kong, comments: "We are pleased to notice a continuous overall growth during the first two months of the year. On a rolling 12-month basis, cargo volumes increased 2.2 per cent to 4.14 million tonnes year-on-year.
