Groundler dnata has appointed Musdalifa Abdullah into the role of managing director Singapore, effective immediately.
Abdullah joined dnata in 2017 and over the last few years, as chief financial officer Asia Pacific, he helped to develop dnata's market position in Singapore.
Pior to joining dnata, Abdullah held several senior positions in the aviation industry in Singapore and the United Arab Emirates.
In his new role, he will manage a team of 1,800 employees and will oversee dnata’s ground handling, cargo and catering operations at Changi Airport in Singapore.
Stewart Angus, dnata’s divisional senior vice president for airport operations, commented: "I’m pleased to announce that Abdullah will lead our Singapore team. I’m confident that our partners and colleagues will all benefit from Abdullah’s customer-oriented approach and extensive experience in the aviation industry. Our Singapore business will be in good hands."
Dnata operates at 129 airports and serves more than 300 airline customers.
In Asia Pacific, it provides ground handling, cargo and catering services to more than 80 airlines at 14 airports in four countries, including Australia, Singapore, Indonesia and The Philippines.
