Cargo throughput at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) dropped by 3.1% to 407,000 tonnes in November compared to the same month last year. The fall was mainly due to a 6% drop in transshipment and 4% in imports, compared to the same month last year, with traffic to and from mainland China and Southeast Asia showing the biggest reduction. On a rolling 12-month basis, HKIA handled 4.38 million tonnes of cargo, a 0.3% increase.
