FedEx was one of the companies to be hit by last week’s global cyber-attack that hit more than 150 countries with ransom malware.
The company said in a statement that it was experiencing issues with some of its Microsoft Corp Windows systems.
"Like many other companies, FedEx is experiencing interference with some of our Windows-based systems caused by malware," the company told Reuters on Friday. "We are implementing remediation steps as quickly as possible."
The WannaCry ransomware virus demanded payments to restore access to machines. The BBC has reported that more than 200,000 computers have been affected so far and experts believe that follow-up attacks could be imminent.
