Etihad Cargo has signed up to uses temperature controlled ULD provider DoKaSch Temperature Solutions' Opticooler product.
The agreement will allow Etihad Cargo to expand its TempCheck cool chain service offering for temperature controlled pharmaceuticals, as its customers will be able to lease the Opticooler from the airline.
DoKaSch claims the Opticooler can "keep pharmaceuticals exactly within their temperature range, regardless of a tropical summer or arctic winter".
"All leading airlines of the Middle East are now our partners as they want to offer their clients the most reliable packaging solution to transport highly temperature-sensitive air cargo shipments,” said Andreas Seitz, managing director of DoKaSch Temperature Solutions.
The agreement between DoKaSch and Etihad Cargo makes the Opticooler being available across the airline's whole network in more than 90 destinations in over 50 countries.
