Etihad Cargo appoints Newbold in global accounts role

Etihad Cargo has appointed Andy Newbold as senior manager global accounts with the task of strengthening customer relationships.

Newbold has more than 35 years of industry experience and has held leadership roles with international airlines, specialising in cargo operations, commercial strategy, and product management.

For the past 15 years, Newbold has been working for Air France KLM Martinair Cargo, where he held several senior roles including, global director of sales - airmail and express, regional director northeast US, and most recently global partner account director.

He also spent seven years working at KLM Cargo and seven years at Cargo Service Center India.

"I am truly excited to be part of such an ambitious and high-quality airline, renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation in the air cargo industry," he said in a LinkedIn post. "I look forward to supporting our customer development initiatives and contributing to the continued growth of Etihad Cargo."
