All flight paths lead to China, with freighter operators stacking up to make a smooth landing, despite a softening in the Chinese economy.
Leading the charge is European all-cargo operator Cargolux, with its planned China joint venture due to launch with three Boeing 747Fs in the second half of 2017. It will be based at the bustling central China hub of Zhengzhou Xingzheng International Airport (CGO), currently number eight in the Chinese cargo airport league table by volumes.
