Dubai International airport saw a 1.9% fall in freight in February, to 192,704 tonnes from 196,460 tonnes recorded in February 2016. However, year to date freight volumes, at 400,976 tonnes, grew 0.8% compared with 397,942 tonnes handled during the corresponding period in 2016.
Passengers continued to grow steadily in February, rising 8.8% to 6,948,157, according to the monthly traffic report issued by Dubai Airports on 28 March.
