DHL Parcel UK (formerly UK Mail) is to take over 3,500 Pass My Parcel ServicePoints across the UK in the face of increasing demand from online shoppers for convenient and flexible delivery options.
DHL Parcel UK chief executive Peter Fuller said: "Rebranding [UK Mail] to DHL Parcel UK is a significant milestone in our company's history and the start of something new for all our people, customers and partners.
“The move to take over Pass My Parcel's network of parcel shops is all part of our growth plans and allows us to improve our delivery options even further, as we will now look to provide return and drop-off solutions at the local DHL ServicePoints.”
Customers can now rearrange their delivery to their local ServicePoint while the driver is en route – or even after delivery has been attempted. A new website and dedicated social media channels have also been launched as part of DHL Parcel UK’s rebrand.
Full takeover of the Pass My Parcel network, meanwhile, is set for June 2019, at which time its locations will be rebranded as DHL ServicePoints.
