Dachser Singapore has expanded its office at Singapore’s Changi International Airport in order to cope with what it says is its “growing business” handled from the island.

Another floor was added to the Dachser office, and the total space available at the office is now said to be five times larger.

The decision to rent more space and to group operations, customer service and warehousing under the one roof will streamline workflows and facilitate internal communication, the company believes.

“As a consequence of our constant business development and Singapore’s relevance as a gateway for trade and business, our airport office reached its capacity,” explained Christophe Vincent, managing director air & sea Logistics Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Dachser Singapore’s two locations are fully integrated into the company’s global network..

Together, the airport office and the warehouse offer worldwide logistics services.

Dachser, a family-owned company, is headquartered in Kempten.

It employs around 26,500 people at 428 locations worldwide and is represented by subsidiaries in 43 countries. In 2015, the company handled 78.1 million shipments weighing a total of 37.3 million tonnes.
