Thomas Krüger has been appointed managing director of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) business unit at German-owned forwarder Dachser Air and Sea Logistics.
He has held a variety of management positions at the company, and was most recently responsible for the Northern Central Europe region. He succeeds Rüdiger Klug, who retired in June.
Current Schenker board member Jochen Müller is meanwhile joining the Dachser team. He will take over fully from Thomas Reuter on January 1, 2018 as chief operations officer of air and sea logistics, after a transition period which starts on October 1 of this year.
Müller joined the Schenker board in 2011, where he was in charge of air freight and sales for Central Europe, as well as logistics for worldwide relocations, trade shows, and sporting events.
Thomas Reuter will remain on the executive board as head of air and sea logistics until his retirement at the end of 2017.
