Seth Hertel

Dayton, Ohio-headquartered CSafe Global, a supplier of temperature-controlled packaging designed to maintain steady temperatures of valuable life-enhancing pharmaceutical shipments, has appointed Seth Hertel as its new chief commercial officer (CCO).

CSafe’s chief executive, Jeff Pepperworth, described Hertel as “a healthcare veteran who comes to us with a wealth of expertise and experience gained from key executive sales leadership roles prior to accepting the CCO role with CSafe”.

He noted that the new CCO will “lead our commercial efforts across the globe, and I fully expect that his contributions will go a long way in propelling CSafe to even greater heights”.

Hertel said that he expects to see CSafe “continue to serve and delight our biopharmaceutical and life science customers while leveraging best-in-class cold-chain solutions, and incredible customer service”.

Late last month (May), CSafe confirmed that it had signed a deal LATAM Cargo that will enable the Latin American freight carrier to offer more options to customers shipping temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals.
