CharterSync digital platform

At Air Cargo Europe, which took place in Munich from June 3-7, CharterSync paved the way to a digitised charter broker sector with the launch of its new online, intelligent platform. In its first week of trading, the tool successfully completed 16 time-critical air charters.

The CharterSync platform intelligently synchronises time-critical air charters for freight forwarders and generates charter options in less than three minutes (from request to quote). It can be accessed via Android and Apple mobile systems, and can cope with a diverse range of cargo specifications.

For instance, during the platform's first week, many of the charter bookings involved complex payload and dimensional restrictions. Aircraft booked ranged from the smaller Cessna to the Antonov An-12 carrying 18 tonnes.

"CharterSync accelerates the booking of time-critical air charter bookings for freight forwarders," said Simon Watson, co-founder of CharterSync. "Our platform adds transparency to cost whilst providing a gateway to the most suitable aircraft in real time.

"Our first week has exceeded expectations with the performance of the platform, and we were able to deliver ease of operation, time-saving, accuracy and cost reduction for our customers."
