Last week, digital booking platform cargo.one has created a dedicated 'operating status page' to keep users informed about flight and schedule changes that airlines are making to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
In a statement, a spokesperson for cargo.one explained: "As the capacity constraints on routes to mainland China, unfortunately, are changing on a daily basis, and flight schedules are likely to be affected up until March, we want to do our best to keep everyone up to date.
"Any airline can let us know about their current status to give customers convenient and transparent access to information. Our freight forwarders are also regularly supplying us with information."
Also last week, Lufthansa Group released its special flight schedule for freighter aircraft flying to and from mainland China.
In a statement, Lufthansa Group informed: "The passenger airlines of the Lufthansa Group have suspended their flights to and from China (mainland without Hong Kong) until 9 February 2020. As a result, the belly capacities of these flights are unfortunately not available for air cargo. However, flights to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region will continue to operate as scheduled."
