Cargolux has appointed Gerard Ter Bruggen as its new regional director west and north Europe, covering Benelux, the UK, Scandinavia and Baltic States.
Ter Bruggen has 35 years’ experience in the airline industry, having held a variety of roles in operations, customer service, country management and sales and marketing.
He joins Cargolux from Qatar Airways where he held the position of cargo manager north and western Europe.
His career in the air cargo industry also includes previous stints at Martinair, Pan American World Airways, Dragonair Cargo and Cargo B Airlines.
Cargolux executive vice president sales & marketing Niek van der Weide said: “We are very pleased to have Gerard in our team of six regional directors in Area 2 (Europe, Africa, Middle east & Indian subcontinent).
